We are currently hiring CNA's and will train experienced caregivers to work as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA). Home Care goals are mainly to provide quality Skilled nursing, Personal support and Developmental disabilities services to our clients. These services will be provided by licensed Professional Nurses, trained/qualified Personal care Aides/Certified Nursing Assistants and Companion/Sitters. All services and nursing care are monitored and supervised by Registered NursesIn this role you will: Provide wellness and hygiene assistance: bathing, grooming and other personal care services Provide transportation to various activities from doctor's visits to grocery shopping Provide non-medical assistance and medication support: medication reminders and meal planning Provide respite and peace of mind for family members Provide companionship and homemaking support: safety supervision and light housekeeping Dressing residents in appropriate clothing, undress, and bathe residents Passing meal trays and nourishments, and feeding or assisting to feed residents Positioning residents for comfort and to prevent skin pressure problems Taking and recording vital signs as requested Assisting residents to achieve pre-assigned programming goals and to increase their independence Participating in the maintenance of safe conditions within the facility and other related areas at all times Documenting all appropriate resident records before leaving shift daily Assisting residents to attend activities within the home and out of the facility Attending staff meetings and required in-service training programs Obtaining continuing education units (CEUs) for renewal of CNA certificate, renewing certificate in a timely fashion, and furnishing operation with a current CNA certificate Providing effective and routine oral hygiene Observing residents and report all changes in condition immediately to Nurse Supervisor Documenting changes of condition on the back of the daily flow sheets Learning training and behavior goals and objectives for the residents you are assigned Following all operation and Sanzie Healthcare Services policies including but not limited to: dress code, attendance, safety, and reporting procedures Participating in any and all tasks as directed by your supervisorA qualified candidate for the position should: Demonstrate ability to read, write, and understand English Demonstrate knowledge of procedures and techniques in providing routine bedside care for residents Demonstrate physical strength and endurance to accomplish job duties, especially transferring of residents Demonstrate ability to establish effective relationship with clients, families, and team members Possess a current certificate verifying completion of a state approved program must be willing to take a background check and TB screeningThe following criteria is required for all applicants: Current Georgia CNA Certification (CNA applicants only) Current TB Test Chest X-ray (If you test positive for TB) Current CPR /First Aid Current Driver's License Reliable Car/Car Insurance and Clean Driving History Must pass Criminal/Drug Test Valid Social Security Card If you are not a US Citizen, a valid Residency/Work Authorization card 3 Verifiable Professional References 1 year of care experience.
