The Quality System programmer is responsible to Design, Develop and validate different quality assurance systems such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), New initiatives SKU set up chains, Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Change Control.

Major/Essential Responsibilities.

  • Design with a multifunctional team the overall system understanding and identifying critical functions. (system flow chart)

  • Follow FDA guidelines for electronic systems and electronic signatures (21 CFR Part 11)

  • Suggest programming platforms.

  • Program and develop a user-friendly system. Connecting with the team and doing tests accordingly.

  • Validate system in a test environment

  • Validate system in a production environment

  • Validate system through a user acceptance test

  • Develop user manual

  • Develop technical manual

  • Contribute to the creation of the training material

  • Contribute to the creation of the back up procedure in case system is down.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master's in science related to programming/IT Experience

  • Applicant should be in the last term of school.

  • This position will report directly to the Quality Assurance manager of the plant. Will interact with main stakeholders at safety, operations and engineering departments.

  • Working Conditions

  • This position can work from home with frequent conference calls to evaluate progress and tasks. She/He will be required to come to the plant once or twice per month to test the different systems created.

  • If going to the manufacturing floor She/He will be required to take Safety and Quality trainings and use personal protective equipment.

Duration: One 8 month Co-op opportunity starting Winter 2021 &

One 4 month Co-op opportunity for the Summer 2021

Location: Hamilton Plant - Flexible to work from home.

No Relocation support available
