Associate Manager - Planning & Budgeting

Location - Gurgaon

JOB SUMMARYTo effectively manage the annual business planning, rolling estimate, long range planning, reporting, variance analysis, forecasts and analytics to support decision making by senior management for South West Asia Region (SWA). SWA comprising of 5 countries viz Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan which increasingly becoming important for Coca-Cola Globally with crossing 100Mn Unit Cases volume in 2019 and have got aggressive plans for future. This role is also responsible for communication of financial reports to Group office and Atlanta Corporate. In addition, some of similar support for the India market also needs to be handled.KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Preparation of annual business plan and monthly rolling estimates of SWA RegionAssist in the communication of annual business plan, monthly result forecasting and other financial reports to Internal BU Management, Group office and Atlanta Corporate.Perform variance analysis of actuals versus PY, business plan and rolling estimate for the month, quarter & yearSupport the development and dissemination of internal management information system (MIS) & ad hoc reports and presentationsPrepare presentations, financial reports and analysis of data. Track, rank, monitor compliance utilizing key business indicatorsCOMMUNICATION COMPLEXITIES:Medium to High Level Strategic/ Operational Interaction with:

  • Within the Company- Interaction with Operation team for volume, revenue and trade spends inputs to plan financial estimates for the business; with Marketing functions for brand plans and estimating brand contribution; with Supply chain for shipments and other functions for collaboration and collecting inputs for Business Planning.

  • Outside the Company- With Bottlers and PWC auditors to drive the effective Concentrate Utilization and Reconciliation for the Bottlers.

Nature and Purpose of the Interaction: - To drive business critical inputs to plan quarterly estimates for the business, ensure compliances and understand variances

ANALYSISThis role requires associate to be proactive to estimates results by keeping a close track of business performance; keeping track of external environment to understand Industry trends and economic indicators and their impact on future quarters; collaborative to work along with multiple functions to take inputs for plans and variance analysis; capable of handling and intelligently analysing a vast amount of different types of data and data evaluation metrics; project management skill to manage annual business planning process involving multiple stakeholders and data points.JUDGMENT AND DECISION MAKINGThis job assists in development of the ABP (Annual Business Plan) and OBP (Operating Business Plan) for the business. This job also assists in analysing business results and forecasting performance basis trends and keeping management updated on risks and opportunities. Also assists in recommendation of resource allocation asks by various functions based on risk and opportunities for the business.INNOVATIONThis job requires to innovate in terms of process optimisation and effective analytics to support the senior management with business-critical information to drive decision making. The job also requires to effectively use system and BI tools to deliver meaningful insights of business performance. It also requires creating, updating and maintaining financial models to forecast business performance.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis is an individual Contributor role, however this role requires a lot of interaction with multiple stakeholders including the bottlers.RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONSProfessionally qualified Chartered Accountant with minimum 4-6 years of planning and commercial finance experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCA ( Chartered Accountant )CULTURAL DIVERSITYEnglishTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 20% within the South West Asian markets of 5 countries.
