Danby Products E-Commerce Support Analyst in Guelph, Ontario
Under the general direction of the Director of E-Commerce, the E-Commerce Analyst is responsible for generating and organizing online sales reports on a weekly basis, analyzing trends across the market, and analyzing brand market shares. This position is also responsible for reporting on sales budgets and assisting in generating new programs and/or promotions to help increase sales.
Lastly, this position is responsible for monitoring market changes and consumer behavior patterns to adapt into business proposals and strategies to maintain competitive advantage online.
The E-Commerce Analyst liaises with Sales Managers and Marketing to develop, propose, and report on promotions for new and existing products. This position also assists with day-to-day functions, supporting the E-Commerce Project Coordinator.
Responsible for generating online sales reports and developing an organized and efficient reporting structure for all sales manages
Assists in the development of promotions and sales programs for key internet accounts.
Conduct competition analysis to build better, more efficient marketing strategies and higher sales revenue.
Collate data from all our marketplaces and conduct in-depth revenue/competition analysis.
Create and modify detailed standard reports as well as customized analysis in support of meeting budgets / targets.
Identify and escalate data issues to support continuous process improvement.
Will work on a combination of Marketplace and Vendor accounts, including Amazon, Wayfair.
Will work directly with the sales managers to optimize sales.
Knowledgeable about the competitive E-Commerce marketplace to ensure DPL’s / DPI’s key competitive advantage to generate more sales.
Audits online content and works with the project coordinator to actively update and maintain online platforms.
Assisting the Project Coordinator on day-to-day activities, as well as new account on-boarding when needed.
Responsible for assisting in the generation of new ideas to address online customer needs
Reports on market changes, trends, and consumer behaviors to makes recommendations regarding the introduction of new products, updating current assortments and marketing promotions.
Examines retail and competitive environment to assist in the generation of new ideas.
Creates seasonal promotions, point of sale discounts, online promotions, online merchandising, and product campaigns.
A University degree in Business and/or Marketing is preferred combined with 3+ years of experience selling & marketing in a fast-paced environment.
Thorough knowledge of the appliance industry and retail channels is an asset.
Must be able to demonstrate strong business skills related to reporting, budgeting, analyzing sales figures and presenting.
Must have an excellent grasp of brand building and customer service coupled with strong communications skills.
Effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Previous experience working directly with Amazon AMS campaigns required
