VMware Senior Enterprise Account Manager in Guangdong, China
Responsible for selling the complete VMware solution, products, and services within a list of 1-10 focused Southern Power Grid Strategic account named accounts.
Learn and understand the assigned accounts’ extended business model and create offerings and solutions to meet corporate goals
Become as intimate as possible with assigned accounts and bridge the gap to executives while increasing VMware mindshare.
Solidify existing customer accounts and elevate VMware to a more strategic position within all accounts
Must be able to sell VMware solution as a ‘platform’ within an account and change the role that IT plays within that account from being considered a cost burden to a strategic deployment.
Manage complex enterprise sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of partners within the same accounts.
Match the VMware solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements
Must exhibit general management style of sale while running a coordinated campaign within all entities of VMware.
8+ years of experience in related software/HW industry with at least 5-7 years in a selling role to Southern Power Grid Accounts
Must have experience selling cooperatively with Southern Power Grid Core apps
Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or Channel driven model
Experience leading a team of professionals in sales campaigns that include Sales Executives, Field SE’s, Inside Sales, Field Marketing, Professional Services, etc
Must have experience in selling in or around ‘platform’ sales such as ERP, CRM, Apps, etc.
Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment
General management experience is a plus.
-Be very familiar with CSPG and have a strong customer relationship with high level of CSPG
Self-starter with a high energy level
Ability to work with all levels of individuals
Proven track record of quota over-achievement
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Dynamic presenter with the ability to translate technical thoughts to everyday language
