Protective Life Insurance Customer Service Associate III in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Description

Responsible for providing customer service (phone, email and written) and administrative support to insured members. Includes providing information to callers on their personal coverage features and application status, processing applications using internal workflow software and preparing, mailing and recording title changes, beneficiary changes, and billing notices.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist callers in resolving problems, updating records and answering questions about their applications submitted for coverage.

  • Verify applicant eligibility for insurance applied for

  • Review applications to ensure completeness and enter coverage details into system to create/update client information

  • Assembles appropriate billing packets for mailing.

  • Assembles policy certificates for mailing.

  • Follow-up on outstanding requirements via phone and email to keep applications moving through the underwriting process.

  • Work directly with our members and well as our vendors to assist with the completion of underwriting requirements.

  • Participate in quality review process to ensure quality and accuracy.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong phone-based customer service skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Previous insurance experience is a plus.
