Kforce Client / Desktop Services Technician in Greenwood Village, Colorado

Kforce has a client in search of a Client/Desktop Services Technician in Greenwood Village, CO.Duties:

  • Advanced desktop administration and client/desktop service and support in supporting, maintaining, and managing IT end point assembly, installation, imaging, configuration, optimization, maintenance, repair, testing, and upgrading of client-facing technologies

  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics for optimum performance by users of desktop computers, laptops, handheld/wireless devices, printers, copiers, and related computing technologies adhering to departmental procedure and company policy

  • Administer appropriate levels-related security controls, governance, compliance, and data loss prevention to secure endpoint computing assets from vulnerabilities and threats (e.g. anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spy ware, etc.)

  • Respond to, research, and troubleshoot incoming requests and prioritize accordingly

  • Resolve basic requests independently, such as application password resets, network access issues, Microsoft Office tools and messaging software issues

  • Gather relevant information and communicate regular updates to manager and teammates regarding project progress, risk management, potential business impact, resource management, timing, overruns, etc.

  • Ensure complex customer needs are promptly reported, tracked through the IT Service Management Desk, monitored, documented, and resolved in a timely and effective manner ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Write supporting technical documentation as it relates to this position

  • Associate degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university, along with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years for Level 1 technicians, or two (2) to four (4) years for Level 2 technicians minimum IT industry related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training

  • Successful experience in an advanced desktop services role, delivering products and services at an enterprise level while supporting multiple end-users

  • Extensive experience in complex troubleshooting, diagnostic analysis, configuration, and repair of new and existing desktop technologies; And working in a team environment

  • Requires the ability to apply methods, procedures, practices and processes derived from technical training and experience to effectively diagnose and solve technical problems from simple to moderate complexity, promptly and effectively

  • Requires proficiency in administering, installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing and supporting intermediate to advanced business-specific client/computer endpoint technology-based business systems

  • Knowledge and expertise supporting desktop computers, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, and other related client/computer endpoint-related technologies including, but not limited to, a focus on Microsoft-based business delivery systems such as Outlook, Office 365, Windows operating systems, and related administration, implementation, deployment and troubleshooting
