PALLADIO Servicesisseeking candidates for our CLAIMS PROCESSOR position.

A Claims Processor handles a high volume of customer calls, and processes consumer furniture warranty claims by gathering information regarding a customer's issue, evaluating the appropriate options, and making decisions on how to proceed according to established processes. They will also communicate with furniture repair technicians and retailers.

This position is based out of our Greensboro, NC Contact Center. Training will be held onsite at the Greensboro Contact Center, following all CDC safety guidelines, and will last approximately 6 weeks.

At the current time, this position will be largely based out of the employee's remote/home location, with a presence at the Greensboro site as needed. When conditions return to "normal" after COVID, there may be an increased presence required at the site.Therefore, we are only able to consider candidates who are within commuting distance to Greensboro at this time.

Skills and experience required:

  • Critical thinking: Ability to assess information, including policies, guidelines, and data supplied by customers, to determine appropriate actions for different situations

  • Dependability and Reliability: Ability and commitment to adhere to an assigned schedule, arriving on time each day and working until the end of the shift

  • Excellent customer service skills: Understanding that the #1 reason we are here is to assist customers who have an issue or who may be upset, and to help provide solutions or clarification

  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving ability

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Computer proficiency

  • Ability to multitask

  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, but also to work as part of a team

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ yearsrecentcustomer service

  • Stable job history

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience working remotely/telecommuting is a plus

  • Experience working in a contact center environment strongly preferred

  • Experience working in an office environment is preferred

Technical requirements:

  • Stable and reliable high speed internet(MINIMUM 10 mbps download and 5 mbps upload)



The Contact Center Hours of Operation are 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Eastern Time (subject to change depending on business needs). Team Members must be available to work an assigned schedule that falls anywhere within the Hours of Operation and may be required to work occasional overtime when business needs arise.
