Eaton Corporation EHS Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Eaton’s Aerospace division is currently seeking an EHS Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Grand Rapids, MI facility. Relocation assistance will be provided.

In this function, you will:

  • Develop and maintain a proactive approach to Environmental, Health, and Safety functions that will continue the site’s Zero Incident Safety Culture

  • Help maintain the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) designation

  • Development and maintenance of a Safety process that ensures OSHA & MIOSHA compliance and a safe workplace

  • Advising and guiding management in all areas concerning environmental regulations, processes, and procedures pertaining to EPA regulations and WWPT (Waste Water Pre-treatment Systems)

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of four (4) years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management from an accredited institution

  • Experience in developing and delivering training in environmental, health and safety.

  • Knowledge and experienced in dealing with local, state, and federal agencies in relation to EHS.

  • Project management experience

  • Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
