Acrisure has a current need for a full-time Benefits Administrator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management:

  • Administration of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, supplemental insurance plans, and voluntary benefits

  • Track employee benefit eligibility and prepare new hire communications

  • Assist and guide employees with benefits enrollment and all other benefit questions or concerns

  • Carrier and vendor interaction to ensure accuracy in enrollments, changes, terminations and claims resolution

  • Monitor and process employee life events

  • Conduct weekly file transitions between the HRIS system and the benefit system

  • Enter data and changes into HRIS system for payroll

  • Assist with troubleshooting and auditing payroll discrepancies for correction

  • Determine, track, and comply with medical support notices and/or court orders

  • Reconciliations of FSA/HSA accounts

  • Monthly benefit billing reconciliation and corrections

  • Interacts with agency partners to ensure accuracy in enrollments, changes, terminations, and claim resolution

  • Build and maintain plans and tables in company HRIS system

  • Acrisure 401(k) Plan support

  • Assist with pulling reports for vendors and employees

  • Ability to conduct benefit orientation, open enrollment, and exit meetings as needed

  • Back up Benefit Specialists where needed

    Education and/or Experience :

  • Associate degree or recognized equivalent of education and experience in a related field such as Business or Human Resources

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations and agencies preferred


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to perform advanced Excel functions, such as Pivot tables and Vlook-ups

  • Experience with PrismHR, Employee Navigator and/or Workday desired

  • Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy

  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude

    Physical Demands :

  • Moderate stress due to regular deadlines and daily challenges.

  • High finger dexterity while typing documents and forms

  • Occasionally lift up to 20lbs.

    Work Environment :

  • Work is done in a temperature-controlled, non-smoking office

  • Workstations are cubicles with moderately high sides

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
