McLaren Health Care Enrollment Representative in Grand Blanc, Michigan


Assists with maintainingand updating the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) enrollment (855s)paperwork and its relationship to the CMS cost reports and institutional enrollmentrequirements for governmental programs (855s) for the McLaren Health Care system. Works in collaboration with each facility(subsidiary) to obtain supporting documentation and information required to meetCMS regulatory and compliance requirements for their enrollment programs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

1. Compileand maintain current supporting documentation and information for each facility(hospital, urgent care center, rural health clinic, etc.). Including but notlimited to current state license, accreditation letters, certificate ofprofessional and general liability insurance, Clinical Laboratory ImprovementAmendments (CLIA), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), type of servicesprovided, service locations, enrollment/payer set up, board members, provider-basedlocations, contacts, etc .

2. Prepare,maintain, and respond to accreditation and regulatory requests for accuracy offacilities (hospitals, urgent care center, rural health facilities, etc.) Obtains,maintains, and monitors cost reports annually for each facility.

3. Prepareand maintain Medicare enrollment for Institutional providers (855A) includingbut not limited to changes relative to Board Members, authorized signors,payment address, corporation name changes, deleting, adding, and changingpractice locations.

4. Acts inthe capacity of a facilitator and coordinator with facilities to ensurecompliance relative to enrollment requirements.

5. Researchesand keeps abreast of governmental payers’ regulations and changes pertaining toenrollment.



  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 5 years experience in progressively more responsible role related to health care administration

  • 1 year experience working with CMS and The Joint Commission requirements


  • Associates degree in Health Care Administration or related field

  • 3 years experience in a progressively more responsible role related to health care administration.

  • 1 year experience working with CMS and The Joint Commission requirements
