Miller's Services Licensed Plumber in Gloucester, Virginia

We are looking for a highly technical and professional Licensed Plumber. Who enjoys helping people and can sell service. Determine service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs. Employees must be able to interact and communicate well with clients in their homes and businesses. All interested candidates must be able to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.

You’re flexible: You are able to work full-time hours but those hours might be day-time, evening, and/or weekend shifts. You will be required to go on our rotating On Call Schedule. The schedule runs Monday - Sunday.

The ultimate goal is to help support our Customers, make their lives easier, and through WOW Service create a lifelong relationship so that Miller’s is the first number they call when an issue arises.

    Responsibilities

  • Service customer's residential issues as needed

  • Repair/ replace piping to coding standards (PVC/Copper)

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle

  • Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer

  • Obtain customer authorization/signature for payment (or financing) at completion of job

  • Generate and schedule replacement consultations as needed

  • Meet or exceed performance minimum standards

    Job Requirements

  • Three or more years in Residential Service Plumbing

  • Ability to drive company vehicles to various commercial and residential sites for work

  • Ability to work with inspectors, suppliers and co-workers to ensure correct project work, while abiding by all codes

  • Willingness to work overtime and "on call" shifts as needed

  • Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs

  • Must be able to lift over fifty pounds

  • A valid plumber’s license
