General Summary:

Maintains accurate account detail for multi-life plans. Ensures all transactions related to multi-life plans are processed across all relevant billing systems. Leverage strong analytic and technical skills to reconcile complex transactions. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders (Brokers, Third Party Administrators, HR Management, and internal partners) to drive retention and satisfaction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process complex financial transactions often requiring ability to reconcile and analyze multiple payments at same time

  • Solicit past due premium for multi-life cases

  • Provide top quality service (through email and phone communications) to brokers, TPAs, and HR managers

  • Research complex service requests and proactively offer solutions

  • Process non-financial transactions including but not limited to:

  • Address changes, cancellations, waivers, requests for duplicate policies, etc.

  • Process manual correspondence lettersMay perform other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

  • 4 year college degree required (or equivalent experience)

  • 1-3 years prior experience in a customer service role, billing related would be ideal) required

  • requires proficiency across two or more billing systems

  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of general banking, accounting and billing/collection business practices and procedures

  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel)

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively without direct supervision

  • Demonstrates good listening ability with exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, both as part of a team and independently

  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrates strong analytical/mathematical skills

  • Displays strong problem solving and decision making ability

  • Exhibits strong customer service skills
