Arcadia University, Domestic Senior Business Process Analyst in Glenside, Pennsylvania

Under the leadership of the Director of Enterprise Applications, the Sr. Business Process Analyst will provide support to the University in their use of the Salesforce platform. They will drive adoption of Salesforce throughout the University by demonstrating a strong user focus, continuously delivering business solutions while maintaining stability and security of existing functionality. They will work closely with cross-functional units in the implementation of all current and future Salesforce projects. Work with departmental technical colleagues to understand, analyze, and improve upon integrated business systems and applications. The Sr. Business Process Analyst possesses a solid, demonstrable knowledge of standard university business processes, applications, business intelligence, ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) and documentation.

Essential Functions:

  • As Salesforce Administrator, responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our existing Salesforce implementation, ensuring that it works seamlessly across the organization and captures all required information

  • Configure and customize the Salesforce platform in order to meet new/changing business requirements.

  • Promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, and act as the primary contact and a subject matter expert on complex and/or critical system issues and processes for the University's Salesforce CRM environment.

  • Establish excellent working relationships with the end-user community, teammates and vendors.

  • Work with users and departments to re-engineer and improve business processes

  • Document key information about applications and end-user business processes

  • Facilitate activities & workshops to streamline processes and design integrated actor/action/outcome based testing scenarios

  • Using appropriate toolsets create and maintain integrations for sharing data between systems

  • Using appropriate toolsets automates manual tasks for both IT and the end user community

  • Drive an Arcadia aligned data model across new and legacy systems

  • Manage internal and external projects to configure and deploy integrated applications

  • Lead activities with a focus on the critical success factors from the voice of the customer perspective

  • Manage work and tasks using project management software, source code control and change management procedures

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to build and maintain Salesforce custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, dashboards, and reports.

  • Excellent communication and training skills including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

  • Excellent time-management

  • Proficient in documenting business processes and use cases

  • Proficient in administering, modifying, documenting and upgrading applications

  • Recognizing the need for, and implementing, re-engineered business processes

  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix problems with limited assistance

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction from supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 - 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator

  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
