Description

The IT Support ServiceDesk Technician will take a lead role in the day to day functions of a high volume, IT service desk operation, supporting end users with hardware and software related issues. This will include, creation of automated software installation packages, overseeing the automation of endpoint patching, and the documentation of these systems. This position will also include supporting\installing printers, software, video conferencing systems, and remote troubleshooting of these using a variety of methods and tools, purchasing of equipment, asset management tracking, and MDM\BYOD requests. Lastly, the IT Support ServiceDesk Technician will also assist in the creation of end user training content and mentoring entry level technicians and interns.

This position will provide support to all employees over the phone, face-to-face, or electronically; sound judgment and professionalism is required.

This is a full-time position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify, research, and resolve technical problems

Provide technical support for hardware & software related issues

Respond to telephone calls, instant messages, email and personnel requests for technical support in a Helpdesk setting

Install and configure workstations, laptops, & mobile devices, based on company needs and requirements

Create and maintain user accounts within an Active Directory\Office 365 environment

Perform other duties or special projects as requested related to area of responsibility

Knowledge & Skills:

3+ years’ experience in General Systems Administration

3+ years’ experience supporting a Microsoft Azure\Office 365, AD Federated environment

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10.x, ability to install, configure and troubleshoot

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2010 & 2016, Office 365 detail oriented, Teams

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint online and OneDrive syncing technologies

General knowledge of Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection & ESET Antivirus software

Ability to support mobile devices (iPad, iPhone, Android)

Ability to work independently, set priorities, meet goals and deadlines

Must have a strong work ethic, organizational skills, the desire to learn and not afraid to ask questions

Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times

ITIL Certification a plus

Experience with CMiC a plus
