Brimar Industries Search Engine Marketing Specialist in Garfield, New Jersey

We’re looking for an experienced search engine marketing (SEM) professional who is interested in joining our team. Responsibilities will include both the management of pay-per-click advertising (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO). You’ll work closely with the product development department to understand the products and pages you’re advertising. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage budgets and work with other members of the Digital Marketing Department to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers.

This is a full-time, on-site position


Gain product knowledge by closely with working with our Product Development team
Create new campaigns and ad groups to market each of our landing pages via PPC text ads.
Create engaging text ads with the best possible titles, descriptions, and extensions.
Build new campaigns and ad groups to market each of our product lines via PPC shopping ads.
Create highly relevant shopping ads with well-written titles and descriptions. Work with the product development department to add compelling imagery to each ad. Prepare ad data for upload to our product feed database.
Manage negative keywords to prevent unnecessary spend and to route search terms to the appropriate ads.
Manage bids to align with our marketing strategy.
Monitor your work, report on its performance, and analyze data to inform future decisions.
Prepare and analyze daily/weekly reports to provide recommendations for areas that require focus.
Plan and write content that exemplifies Google’s E-A-T principles with the goal of improving offsite ranking factors.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 5 years of SEM experience.
Google Ads (previously known as Google AdWords) and Microsoft Advertising (previous known as Bing Ads and Microsoft AdCenter).
Google Search Console (previously known as Google Webmaster Tools) and Bing Webmaster Tools.
Amazon Seller Central experience is preferred but not required.
Google Analytics or similar analytics software.
Keyword research and backlink monitoring services, e.g. Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
Data analysis. Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required.
Exceptional planning, organization, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills with a willingness to ask questions and work with the team — we love helping each other achieve the team’s goals.
Personal project management experience with a proven track record of completing projects on time and to scope.
