Job Description:

The Office of Undergraduate Affairs is actively accepting applications for a part-time Student Assistant administrative position. This position will mainly be responsible for providing needed support for curriculum processes as well as various office tasks, including, but not limited to:

  • Provides logistical coordination and clerical work for the OUA including working with OUA clientele via phone, email, and in person.

  • Assists with preparation of agenda for Advisory Committee for Undergraduate Affairs (ACUA) and Student Advisory Committee for Undergraduate Affairs (SACUA).

  • Supports OUA scholarship processes, including communication to committee members, committee scheduling, OUA scholarship website updates, and editing applications

  • Assists with preparation of monthly OUA staff meetings

  • Assists Assistant Director of Curriculum and Policies with preparing monthly agendas for University Curriculum Committee (UCC) and General Education Committee (GEC) committees and their subcommittees

  • Prepares notebooks for monthly meetings for UCC, GEC, and ACUA, collating all feedback to requests.

  • Conducting research requested by the GEC, UCC, and ACUA

  • Monitoring degree audit ticketing queue

  • Additional duties as needed

Work Schedule: 20 hours/week; Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Expected Salary:

$8.65 hourly

Minimum Requirements:

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed as a Student Assistant and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week
