Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients needs. * Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patient
Elicits and records complete medical history of the patient in medical record for signature by physician. * Performs routine physical examinations. * Compiles and evaluates medical histories and physical findings.
Establishes diagnoses and makes treatment recommendations to be reviewed by physician.
Displays compassion and understanding with patients consistent with Standard of Excellence principles. Responds appropriately to patient questions.
Prescribes and initiates diagnostic tests and procedures such as laboratory tests and radiologic procedures. Obtains physicians signature within twenty-four hours.
Checks off all CPT codes as procedures are completed (lab, injections, treatments, X-rays)
