As the Government Industry Manager, you will lead an organization of industry specialiststo create and foster long-term relationships and to deliver value to enterprise customers. You will build the momentum of digital transformationfor enterprise customers andpartners,as well as for Microsoft.
The Government Industry Manager is a committed leader who will aid in accelerating our customers’ digital transformationsanddeliver on short-term and long-term financial goals and responsibilities. In thisroleyou will be a dedicated leader and sales coach,be fluentin sales-leadership practices, and you will leadwith vision, simplicity, and execution on determined strategy.
You will be considered a leader in the following areas:
Growth and Transformational Sales Leadership
Exceed Revenue, Consumption and Customer Satisfaction Goals.
Lead the transformation of our sales teams including Relationships, Technical and Industry Sellers through frictionless cross-team orchestration to ensure we deliver value andsatisfaction for all enterprisecustomers as One Microsoft.
Aid in accelerating customers’ DigitalTransformations.
Build business and go to market models that address company strategy within constraints of country / area maturity and resource limitations.
Customer, Partner and Market Thought Leadership
Build Industry proficiency throughout our sales teams.
Become the trusted advisor and spokesperson in the relevant local industry environments, thereby opening doors and removingbarriers for our sales teams, partners, and customers.
Motivate Sales Managers and Sellers, to enable business and technical outcomes, providing value to our customers throughout their own lifecycles in a customer centric manner.
Demonstrate partner advocacy and sponsorship to drive scale and share throughco–selling.
In conjunction with sales managers, commit to attracting, leading, developing and retaining a diverse sales organization that is motivated and agile.
Foster an inspirational coaching culture that empowers the team to deliver and continuously learn
10+ years of related experience: Senior sales leadership roles,managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations
Proven track record and experience leading large sales and technical sales organizations, selling and delivering complex solutions to enterprise customers
Proven track record and experience leading organizational transformations while delivering on short-term results;
Strategic leadership with track record driving results faster than competition in new markets/solution areas (preferred: cloud services growth and consumption)
Strong leadership & interpersonal skills, coaching skills, cross-group collaboration and proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries
Bachelor’s degree: Required, MBA desiredor equivalent work experience
