The Product Analytics team is looking for a Business Analyst / Sr. Business Analyst who will play a critical role in driving the growth of our personal loans business and product strategy. Sitting at the intersection of product, risk, and business insights, the Product Analytics team plays a critical role in analyzing & optimizing new product features as well as driving the omnichannel strategy across our channels. In this role, you will leverage multiple data sources, develop a deep understanding of our various products, and practice analytical rigor in making product feature recommendations that will ultimately improve customer experience & conversion within the acquisition funnel while controlling for risk & fraud. The right candidate for this role will demonstrate a high level of curiosity, a fierce dedication to accuracy & excellence, and a strong knack for solving complex problems with innovative & simple solutions that challenge the status quo.   • Analyze, monitor, and improve current product feature strategies to drive profitability within the personal loans business

  • Understand the different features and aspects that constrain or improve the conversion funnel to develop product and risk management strategies

  • Develop analytical frameworks to monitor product performance & drive feature enhancements for new and existing products

  • Work end-to-end with the Product and Engineering teams to implement & test new or alternate strategies

  • Work closely with stakeholders across teams to identify & solve the business question at hand

  • Provide full range of analytical support for recently launched products

  • Create clear and concise presentations and reporting packages for senior leadership

  • Collaborate with data engineering to develop in-depth data analytics and business intelligence tools

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic recommendations through statistical analysis using SQL/SAS or other programming language (R, SAS, Python, STATA, MATLAB, etc).

  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to maintain the highest standard of integrity, accuracy and precision

  • Basic understanding of experimental design (such as A/B experiments) and statistical methods

  • Proven ability to communicate and influence by presenting data & analyses in a compelling way

  • Experience developing, managing, and delivering website/mobile testing strategy, online experimentation, website behavior and performance metrics (on platforms like G-Analytics) is a big plus

  • Solid Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • A relentless problem solver and out of the box thinker in finding ways to improve strategies and processes

  • Smart, dedicated, compassionate, hungry, fun, and generally awesome personality


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Business, Science or Computer Science (Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus)

  • 2+ years in business analysis and using SQL preferred

  • 2+ years of working experience in an analytical capacity, preferably within financial services, tech, or management consulting industry
