Position SnapshotAccount Executives at US Ecology sell industrial cleaning, emergency response, remediation, hazardous waste treatment, disposal services and wastewater treatment, within the Northeast region. They maintain and grow relationships with customers while achieving assigned sales and profit growth goals. They retain existing business, support the company's offerings, and pursue profitable growth opportunities. Account Executives also act as the first line of technical assistance for customers and are the go-to person that customers call first.

Day in the LifeEvery day in sales is different, but after grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

  • Check in at the office or hit the road

  • Participate in opportunity reviews (proposal and estimates)

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site evaluations

  • Read project plans and specifications

  • Assist with the estimating and proposals

  • Develop strategies for growing revenues

  • Complete required sales reports, forecasts, or other reports

  • Prepare price quotations and proposals

  • Assist in collection of receivables if accounts are delinquent

  • Make recommendations to sales management regarding market strategies

  • Coordinate with management to develop effective strategies for closing prospect opportunities

  • Keep in touch with existing customers

What you need to apply

  • Located in or near Franklin, MA

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3 years' minimum of related sales experience in the Hazardous Waste Disposal or Environmental industry

  • Knowledge and understanding of sales pricing and competitive options with the environmental service and hazardous waste industry

  • Working knowledge of RCRA regulations and how to apply to proper waste acceptance and pricing

  • Experience using CRM system(s)

  • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
