Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the General Ledger Accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling financial statements and accounts and developing and maintaining financial reporting for the firm, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and GL structure.

  • Analyze and interpret financial information and work with Internal Finance and/or other teams to monitor variances to budgets.

  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations and work with Internal Finance and/or other teams to resolve discrepancies.

  • Prepare journal entries for month end close.

  • Create, maintain and publish monthly financial reports. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Support annual financial budgeting process.

  • Assist with adhoc projects and/or reports as they arise and perform other related duties as needed.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

  • 2-4 years of job-related experience

  • CPA license preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Management Reporter for Microsoft Dynamics ERP a plus

  • Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and approach opportunities in a flexible and creative manner

  • Excellent Written, Verbal and Presentation skills

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
