Lockheed Martin Project Engineer - Level 3 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This F-35 Engineering Project Office position will support many different aspects of F-35 Sustainment. Responsibilities include leading the technical planning and execution of contracted work. Facilitates technical risk management and system level problem resolution and tracking. Developing Key Performance Indicators, Focuses on the cross-team coordination of the day to day engineering work for product development to ensure consistent design implementation to meet contracted requirements. Establishes processes and metrics to monitor engineering process health and provide the leadership necessary to correct and prevent systemic engineering related issues. A demonstrated self-starter with the ability to establish a project business rhythm for communicating with internal & external customers at all levels. Convey capabilities, influence others in data driven manner, and improve processes, and procedures.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Secret, Ability to Obtain

Basic Qualifications:

Engineering Bachelor's degree required

Experience working with engineering or Program Management teams.

Experience working with project management and/or proposal management tools.

Experience creating cross functional project plans, estimates, and integrated master schedules.

Desired Skills:

-Demonstrated experience with multiple LOBs (Development, Production, Sustainment)

-Demonstrated Experience working in a manufacturing and or depot maintenance environment

-Demonstrated ability to develop Key Performance Indicators

-Project Management Professional Certification is a bonus

-Lean Certifications are a plus

-Experience working with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

-Strong oral, and written communication skills.

-Systems Engineering Experience
