Bell has an immediate opening at the Fort Worth, TX Commercial Business Center for an experienced Financial Analyst.
This Financial Analyst position will support multiple Commercial Aircraft pricing activities including estimating, quality review, financial and risk analysis, proposal walk-thru with upper management, support of key business systems, etc. This individual will have the opportunity to coordinate with different departments, learn the commercial aircraft contracting cycle and gain leadership experience.
Supports daily commercial aircraft pricing operations
Performs cost, price, and profitability analyses on commercial aircraft proposal opportunities
Coordinates activities with other pricing team members including managers, supervisors, estimators, and analysts
Works closely with Contracts, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, Configuration Engineering, Program Management, and other Bell commercial entities (such as Piney Flats, Canada, Prague, and Singapore)
Maintains internal database containing cost and pricing data for the wide array of commercial products and services offered by Bell
Attends estimate kickoff and proposal gate review meetings
Updates pricing and estimating factors (such as currency exchange rates, labor rates, overhead, cost estimating relationships, etc.)
Supports implementation of process improvements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar field
At least 3 years of Finance or Pricing/Estimating experience in building moderately complex to complex financial models .
Prior experience in supporting ad hoc projects
Must have excellent analytical and reasoning skills, including sound judgment, detail oriented, critical thinking skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to utilize good common sense.
Ability to articulate the findings in a concise and understandable manner for upper management / leadership across Bell’s commercial aircraft business
Ability to work in a very strong collaborative environment across the company with many different organizations and levels to resolve matters on interrelated responsibility.
Must be capable of successfully managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Must have effective communication and presentation skills.
Team Player and self-starter capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, especially MS Excel financial modeling skills
Good organizational skills, ability to work concurrently on multiple and varied projects
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Ability to take initiative to proactively seek out solutions to business issues
Experience in seeking process improvements, driving efficiencies
Experience with MS Access and / or Power BI are a plus, but not required
