We’re looking for qualified Appointment Scheduling Specialist like you to join our Texas Health Heart & Vascular Group family.
Work location: 1300 West Terrell Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work environment: Heart & Vascular Specialists
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm
Salary range: $15.10 - $22.90 per hour (based on relevant experience)
Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) is a not-for-profit physician organization with more than 250 locations and 800 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants dedicated to providing quality care in clinics and medical offices throughout North Texas.
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
2 years related experience in Healthcare environment (preferred)
Healthcare Appointment Scheduling (strongly preferred)
Position Responsibilities THPG Appointment Scheduling Specialist schedules all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests and studies by the physician. Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments, conducting patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care, scheduling tests, procedures, and referral appointments. Communicates with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests and may collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance, gathers insurance information and patient personal data. Demonstrates positive professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts, and performs other duties as assigned.
