Meade, MDEmployment Type:Full-timePay Type:Exempt/SalariedSecurity Clearance:TOP SECRET/SCITravel Required:MinimalJob Summary:The Senior Acquisition Specialist will support the execution of product cybersecurity elements across global programs and services. This person should be familiar with the DoD Acquisition process for mature programs, new starts, and the acquisition of new/existing technologies. Executions include working with multiple security, IT and engineering leadership/stakeholders and a variety of security, IT and engineering technical resources to identify and plan physical and cybersecurity work to meet/exceed program initiatives. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, creating and overseeing all ACQ documentation, ACQ strategies, Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Selected Acquisition Report (SAR), Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) Report, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), work breakdown structures (WBS), project plans, project recommendations, status reports and executive presentations.Job Duties:Make recommendations to government on how to navigate Acquisition requirements, what documentation is necessary based on program/product maturity, and how to acquire new technologiesDevelop acquisition documents to include: Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capability Development Document, Capability Production Document, Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), Program Management Plan (PMP), Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM), Affordability Estimate, Analysis of Alternatives, Cost Analysis and Requirements Description, and Integrated Master ScheduleMake recommendations about optimal acquisition path/option for variety of programs and technologiesProvide risk management as demonstrated by identifying risk drivers, dependencies, root causes, and developing risk mitigation/consequence management strategies throughout the program total lifecycleManage multiple projects with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficultyExpert in demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies, embedded security, and platformsMaintain a working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and elementsMandatory Skill Requirements (must have):15 experience and/or familiarity with acquisition policy, regulations and statutes in compliance with U.S. Department of Dense (DoD)Strong interpersonal skillsExcellent written communication skillsExperience with scheduling requirements (Integrated Master Schedule, Work Breakdown Structure, etc.) as demonstrated by applying the application and principals in developing and managing integrated schedules and scheduling products, and ensuring actual events feedback into the scheduling processStructured project management experience in deploying security-related initiativesAbility to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited dataSolid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problemsDesired Skill Requirements:DAWIA Level I-III certification in program management or similar is a plus10 years of experience in DoD (or other agency) Cyber programsEducation/Equivalent:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university(Desired) Master's degree from an accredited college or universityFor more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
