Summary About the Position:The Knowledge Management Analyst (KMA) implements Knowledge Management initiatives throughout the organizations. Responsibilities As a Knowledge Management Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Assist in supporting organizations in applying knowledge management principles and best practices. Implement strategies to enhance explicit and implicit knowledge production. Develop and implement knowledge policy and program guidance. Prepare and present briefings, plans, and reports explaining technical and operational issues regarding Knowledge Management. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) conducting knowledge management (KM) assessments 2) designing templates/formats for computerized knowledge management (KM) products 3) identifying knowledge management (KM) initiatives; and 4) training users on a knowledge management (KM) system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
