Vectrus 82nd CLS Warehouse Specialist (Supply) in Fort Bragg, North Carolina


Under the supervision of the Master Supply Tech, the Warehouse Specialist procures, receives, picks-up, stores, inventories and distributes materials, verifying materials and equipment against receiving documents. Receives, stores, stacks, or palletizes materials and removes materials from storages and prepares for shipping.

The warehouse specialist are capable of moving and loading or unloading equipment, materials, and products; operating or tending equipment used to transfer material; driving forklifts and related material-handling machinery and equipment.

  • Routes materiel and equipment to prescribed storage locations.

  • Performs day-to-day routine tasks, in accordance with established guidelines, and receives specific guidance from a materiel coordinator or other official for handling of unusual non-routine problems.

  • Verifies the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records.

  • Examines materials delivered to verify if material that was delivered was the type specified and checks for damaged goods.

  • Removes materials from storages and prepares from shipment.

  • Stablish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, materiel control, account and supply reports

  • Ensures that material is appropriately identified and keeps records of goods received.

  • Uses computerized systems to compile reports of quantity and type of material on hand.

  • Job duties and responsibilities may charge due to contractual requirements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.


Warehouse specialist is required to operate a forklift or other related material handling equipment. Safety shoes and other personal protection equipment such as face mask, safety vest, hard hat, gloves, and eye wear may be required dependent upon assigned work area.


Warehouse specialist functions in an office and shop environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the outdoors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic condition. Must be able to operate standard office equipment like a computer, copy machine and printer. Work will typically be in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment. Employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Rarely will an employee be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise. A normal work week is 40 hours (5 days per week) Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires.


  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling loads up to 50 pounds.

  • Operates a GSA vehicle as required in, on, and around the local area.




  • High School graduate or equivalent is required.

  • Knowledge of warehouse storage layouts, basic warehousing functions.

  • Must have a working knowledge and operational experience with the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) and LIW (Logistic Information Warehouse).

  • Forklift OSHA operating training.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), SharePoint, and basic Adobe products is required.

  • Must have or able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer, copy machine and printer.

  • Valid state driver’s license without restrictions is required.

  • Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize, perform a high degree of accuracy and multitask in a fast pace environment.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.


Requires a minimum of two years of related experience. Working knowledge of GCSS-Army is required. Possess basic math, typing/keyboarding, and customer service skills. Must be eligible for issue and possession of a Common Access Card (CAC). Must be eligible to obtain a forklift operator’s license and have a valid State Driver’s License.
