NASCO DIVISION Assistant Product Manager in FORT ATKINSON, Wisconsin

Job Description The Assistant Product Management role is intended to provide marketing, analytical, and administrative support to the Solutions team. This role will be responsible for coordinating marketing efforts, generating reports, handling basic customer service and sales requests, assisting with product launches, improving processes, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department. Category Management - Establish and develop short and long-term strategic category plans that meet customer needs. Manage product price points to maximize sell-through and profitability. Actively participate as a member of the Nasco Merchandising, Sales & Marketing team. Customer Relations - Facilitate contact with customers through personal visits, phone and written correspondence. Set up visits to build existing relationships, find new product opportunities, and gather market information. Work with the Quote and Kit Departments, and others to support customer needs. Category Assortment - Review product sales, catalog and web performance. Assist in identifying, selecting and setting up new products. Coordinate collection of new product information and marketing assets from suppliers and set up and maintenance of product information in ERP and marketing systems. Proprietary Product - Be sensitive to the needs of customers and alert to ideas for new products that could be produced by Nasco Education. Work with consultants as assigned.
