*Job Summary: *
The Field Sales Representative is an exempt position that is responsible for sales account development within an established geographic territory to engage customers who own/manage multi residential dwellings to accept a set of free products on behalf of a well-known worldwide brand. This role entails meeting presenting product solution and demonstrating the value of accepting the offer from a valued well know, world-wide business partner.
Prospect and develop sales with multi residential dwellings (apartment complexes and condos) in designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities and contacting prospective customers via on premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
Create and execute territory plans to meet and exceed product installation targets within an assigned local geographic region.
Visit several Multi Residential Unit complexes per day to meet with decision maker and deliver the value proposition of the free access product for one of the world’s largest brands; the product offered is a free service to the customer (owner/decision maker for multi residential properties).
Develop and manage customer relationships for assigned accounts to gain strategic positioning with decision makers and close a minimum of one new client per day.
Effectively assess customer needs to recommend best fit solution(s).
Understand client’s offering in order to articulate technical information to customers.
Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points which includes enhancing expertise in the company\u0027s product application technologies.
Become an expert in the competitive environment and be able to communicate regarding competitive offerings while effectively positioning client as market leader.
Provide accurate and detailed daily forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
Mut be able to travel to multiple locations daily
*Supervisory or Management Responsibility/Decision Making Level: *
Demonstrated experience with solution selling to businesses.
Business communications application sales experience.
Proficiency with Salesforce.com application preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Exemplary presentation skills.
Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction and ability to provide assistance to sales force.
Strong attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high energy, quota driven and evolving sales environment.
*Minimum Education and/or Experience: *
BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferably in business administration, marketing or sales field.
Minimum 3 years field sales experience
Proficiency in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
*Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: *
Must have a demonstrated track record managing in a sales environment
Proven experience developing, implementing, and exceeding sales goals and delivering successful results
High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, and business needs and travel arrangements
Proven ability to analyze and improve work processes for efficiency
Demonstrated ability to be a team player/coach
Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Cloud based applications
*Additional Job Requirements: *
Ability to travel a local territory 90% of time per month conducting sales activities outside of the home office
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing and moving items
