Universal Coating Phos Line-Production in Flint, Michigan

style="text-align: center;"Universal Coating is hiring for Phos Line positions! style="text-align: center;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"Job duties/span style="text-align: left;"1. Consistently produce a product that meets the customerrsquo;s specifications.-Learn and use Job Sheets and Work Instruction manuals.-Accurately follow special directions or handling instructions.-Ensure that proper start up and shut down procedures are being followed according to the checklistsand the product that is being run.- Inform the supervisor or quality control immediately if there is a quality problem.2. Productivity:-Consistently meet production standards as communicated by the supervisor.-Assist the line in determining proper loads.-Run production according to the lsquo;Hot Listrdquo; schedule, unless instructed otherwise by productioncontrol or management.3. Complete all required paperwork and forms on time and accurately. (Job Sheets, Run Sheets, Start up/Shutdown procedures, etc.)4. Perform quality checks:Ensure paperwork and parts are completed before moving to next stage on Job Sheet.Quality check (green stamp) completed parts.Maintain a close watch on chemical tank appearances, levels and temperatures. If abnormal, contactyour supervisor or the Quality Department immediately.Make sure tanks that are not being used are properly covered and turned off.Overflow buckets are to be emptied every 2 hours or as needed.5. Maintain all cleaning standards and requirements: style="text-align: left;"Keep inside of dump hopper and general work area clean and free of debris.Make sure dryers are operational and the area around the dryer is clean.-Keep catwalk area clean and free from debris.-Assist in emptying and cleaning process tanks.6. Manual Crane Operations:-Maintain line production by maintaining a minimum of 4 barrels and a maximum of 8 barrels.-Maintain a line rate of 5 ndash; 8 barrels per hour.7. Loading operations:-Ensure proper process cycle is identified for each load of parts.-Load and operate dump hopper according to instructions.-Weigh phosphate barrels and load parts according to the Job Sheet.-Weigh customerrsquo;s containers and record appropriately.-Make sure information for coating weight sample parts are written up and put in bag for unloader tocollect for analysis.8. Unloading Operations:-Ensure that parts are inspected before unloading into dryer baskets to avoid expending extra labor onparts that may have to go through the line again.-Correctly unload dryer barrels according to the customerrsquo;s instructions and place in dryer.-Remove from dryer, inspect and pack according to customerrsquo;s instructions.-Fill out required paperwork accurately and place in the container with parts.-Make sure parts for coating weight samples are saved and put in a bag for analysis.-Make sure the finished product meets customer specifications before sending the parts on for shippingor painting.-Help out with scaling when needed.9. Floaterrsquo;s-Help out with loading, un-loading, and scaling.-Help out with scaling-Help out with titrations and coating weights.- Help out with lunches/breaks and where needed.10. Titrationrsquo;s:-Ensuring that titrationrsquo;s are performed per the Titration manual.-Titration readings are recorded accurately on the Tan
