Overview

Responsible for developing strategies and tactics to achieve customer objectives, KPIs, and targets by implementing strategies and tactics and managing customers in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth. The Dir, Key Account will also oversee and manage a team of Key Account Managers to ensure execution and delivery of objectives for strategic partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales, promotion, and marketing of brands by providing maximum company sales through planning, executing, follow-up, evaluation, and review

  • Supervise the activities of assigned accounts to ensure maximum sales and profits

  • Coach, direct, and counsel team members on overall performance; define expectations and monitors progress

  • Strategize with senior sales management to enhance contribution to sales goals and companywide sales strategies

  • Provide sales training, brand awareness, and development direction to internal sales professionals and chain buyers

  • Establish a course of action to accomplish sales and specific goals/programming

  • Provide reports and maintain communication of current and projected goals/objectives

  • Present, educate, and ensure execution of monthly programs

  • Conduct market surveys to determine and track competing brands and wholesalers

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, results, and recommendations for market improvement

  • Create and maintain recap of all sales promotion activity

  • Perform other duties as assigned
