The Boeing 747 / 767 Integrated Scheduling Team located in the Everett, WA is recruiting for a Mid-Level Integrated Program Planning Specialist (Level 3). We are looking for a dynamic candidate with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong analytical skills to be a part of our Business Operations Program Planning & Control (PP&C) Organization.

We play a key role in providing integrated plans, schedules and change management control systems across the airplane value stream. This opportunity will provide you a solid understanding of the Boeing Production System and offer the foundational knowledge needed to succeed in almost every area of the company. Integrated Scheduling requires the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships, while analyzing critical data. The Integrated Schedule is at the foundation of any successful Boeing program and this key skill offers the unique opportunity to learn the business from the inside out.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains, an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements.

  • Produces metrics for plans and schedules for moderately complex projects, programs, and change activities across the lifecycle of a program.

  • Performs studies/analysis and planning efforts, within and/or across programs/projects, organizations or business units to determine impacts, constraints, and plans involving product development, production rates, production development activities, process improvement, or program initiatives.

  • Develops the Integrated Master Plan, schedule and supports change incorporation plans related to integrated scheduling products.

  • Performs integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners of moderate complexity.

  • Identifies, analyzes and reports performance variances to management.

  • Works with customers to develop performance recovery plans and incorporates recovery plans where appropriate.

  • Provides training and mentoring to lower level employees.

Work Authorization:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher is required.

  • 1+ years of experience in Integrated Scheduling, Change Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Operations, Project Management, Industrial Engineering and/or related disciplines.

  • Experience managing complex integrated schedules or projects.

  • Experience using Microsoft Applications.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Open Plan Professional, Milestones or similar tools.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
