Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist (Level 3) to join our Product Development Business Operations Integrated Scheduling team located in the Everett, WA.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong analytical skills. The Integrated Scheduling team requires the ability to build relationships, gain commitment from a variety of working groups, and analyze critical data. A current team project includes developing a robust, fully integrated precedence network to be used in the planning of future airplane programs. Our integrated schedulers work with Subject Matter Experts to horizontally and vertically integrate program gates, deliverables and key activities across all airplane and production system value streams in order to scenario plan and evaluate program opportunities and risks. This statement of work will evolve as the project matures and may lead to other opportunities in Integrated Scheduling and Program Planning. Additional statement of work will include developing Dynamic Schedule Visibility health metrics and dashboards through the use of Tableau.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners of moderate complexity.

  • Identifies, analyzes and reports performance variances to management.

  • Works with customers to develop performance recovery plans and incorporates recovery plans where appropriate.

  • Collects statement of work from multi-functional value stream subject matter experts (Systems Engineering, Airplane, Production System, Program Management and Support and Services)

  • Manages airplane development schedule activities following the Enterprise Standard Gate Process, vertically and horizontally integrating cross-value stream activities within Open Plan Professional (OPP).

  • Conducts network validation workshops confirming cross-value stream network integrity.

  • Provides network visibility (including Master Phasing Plans, critical path and look-ahead reports from OPP) and analysis feedback to the team.

  • Partners with the team and Subject Matter Experts to analyze network Risks, Issues and Opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the team to maintain network baseline compliance by following change management best practices.

  • Develops Dynamic Schedule Visibility health metrics, trend analyses and dashboards in Tableau

  • Provides training and mentoring to lower level employees

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions

  • 3+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • 3+ years of experience in using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Open Plan Professional

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and navigation in ADO

  • Experience in creating Tableau dashboards, SQL coding, VBA, and SharePoint maintenance

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
