Old national is seeking an Asset Control Processor for our Wealth Mgt department. You will perform various duties listed below related to the Wealth Management Securities Movement & Control Operations as a control for securities transactions, whether book-entry or physical, following trade execution through settlement, as well as similar controls for free receipt and delivery transactions In addition to the primary duties assigned, the WM Securities Movement & Control Specialist will serve as a back up to other associates as needed and for business continuity purposes.

Key Accountabilities

Timely and accurate processing of securities movement and related transaction posting

  • Processing of mutual fund dividends and capital gains

  • Set up and maintain securities master records

  • Assist in transfer of incoming and outgoing assets

  • Assist in the settlement of investment trading transactions

Timely and accurate processing of unique assets and asset-related transactions

  • Obtaining and updating pricing for not-readily-marketable and non-publicly traded securities

  • Process corporate actions on securities held in Wealth Management accounts

  • Update cost basis on assets received in kind

  • Process interest payments and redemption of bank certificate of deposit

Timely and accurate resolution of securities movement cases and cross-training for backup

  • Resolve cases filed by internal clients and communicate as needed

  • Cross train on critical functions in Wealth Management Operations and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of operations experience is essential; preferably 1-3 years of experience in a trust office/security industry environment

  • 1 to 3 years accounting and back office experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; Access is a plus

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail as well as accuracy

  • Must have good problem-solving skills
