JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at Penn State Behrend invites applicants for a non-tenure track faculty position starting Fall 2021. The selected candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in both resident and online modes.

A minimum of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required by appointment start date. Candidates should have prior teaching experience. Candidates with demonstrated exceptional ability as a teacher and adviser, evidence of professional growth and scholarship, and a level of subject matter mastery above the Assistant Teaching Professor rank, may be considered for a higher rank.
