Join ourteamAs a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise toresearch, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improvecutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex systemarchitectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them fromoperational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation,and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you arein charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through thepAt SNC's ISR, Aviation and Security (IAS) team we are a leading mannedand unmanned aircraft systems integrator for high-performance intelligence,surveillance and reconnaissance, and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutionsto customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs toconsistently exceed expectations and provide a turnkey approach to enable ourcustomers to focus on their mission.Must-haves:Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline andtypically 10 or more years of relevant experienceDemonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsThorough understanding of requirements development, system design,integration, and Verification and Validation (VandV) principlesAn active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance requiredPreferred:Advanced Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools,such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLABKnowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include,but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering(MBSExperience or certification in INCOSE standardsBackground in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryExperience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex developmentsetting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measuresThorough understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical PerformanceMeasurements (TPM)IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. SecurityClearance.
