Join ourteam! As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertiseto research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improvecutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex systemarchitectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them fromoperational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation,and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you arein charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through thepAt SNC's ISR, Aviation and Security (IAS) team we are a leading mannedand unmanned aircraft systems integrator for high-performance intelligence,surveillance and reconnaissance, and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutionsto customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs toconsistently exceed expectations and provide a turnkey approach to enable ourcustomers to focus on their mission.Must-haves:Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or relateddiscipline andtypically 6 or more years of relevant experiencePracticalknowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsKnowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing,derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration,technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verificationand Validation (VandV) principlesAn active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredPreferred:Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such asDOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLABKnowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include,but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering(MBSExperience or certification in INCOSE standardsBackground in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryExposure to baseline definition and maturation in a complex developmentsetting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measuresUnderstandingofestablishing and tracking key Technical PerformanceMeasurements (TPM)IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires current/active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S.Security Clearance for employment.
