Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prepares work to be accomplished according to assembly instructions, specifications etc.
Gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials (if necessary)
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
Learn to read a job order (if applicable), to assemble quality product that meets customers’ requirements
Attention to order specifications is imperative, size qty etc.…
Assess any defects in product and communicate quality issues with leader
Rework pieces as needed to meet quality requirements and customer specification
Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Ensures safety measures are followed to protect personnel and company property
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing quality and timely results
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and management

- High School Diploma or GED a plus, but not required.

- This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand in a stationary position for long periods of time, Able to handle repetitive motion for long periods of time. This position may also require walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items between 5 to 50 + pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.
- There is no travel required with this position.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Manufacturing/industry experience a plus, but not required.
