The primary role of the Server PLM is to own the life cycle management of one or more Dell EMC PowerEdge Servers, related Systems Managed solutions or server option categories for the region. This includes all aspects of Planning, Launch, Sustaining and End of Life activities of those Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, Open Manage systems management software or related server options.
oCollaborate with the cross functional teams to ensure on time new product introductions.
oDrive all Product/Solution related sales enablement activities including training, demos, seeds, product- or solution-specific customer sales events, sales play targeting and relevant scorecards and dashboards.
oOrganize regular participation and ad hoc engagements to help coordinate extended activities including UPP, Pricing, Demand & Supply and Transition management with peer teams, provide guidance in order to help ensure optimized product availability and minimize E&O impact.
oMaintain portfolio & technical knowledge, become the de facto subject matter expert for assigned products for the Server LOB.
oActively participate to the weekly and ad hoc LOB/PG forums; provide feedback and guidance to PG about programs & roadmap developments as well as about related PFG/MRD documents.
oOrganize relevant and timely messaging of Product/Solutions life cycle events and developments (launch, product stop ship, engineering hold and other sustaining issues) to the field along with appropriate guidance to sales.
oDrive/support new implementation and/or improvements of systems, tools and processes supporting both Solutions & Products Life Cycle Management requirements
o7-10 years minimum experience in product/sales/marketing/program management role.
oStrong written and oral communications skills
oProficiency in English language is mandatory
oSolid organizational & time management skills
oSelf-starter and strong change management skills
oMust be organized and able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
oStrong ability to engage with people at all different levels of the organization
oSound financial reporting and forecasting experience
oMust be comfortable with MS office tools
