Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in communications, partnering with stakeholders across Engineering Compliance, Legal, and GDC Management.
Experience in project/program management and GDCS Compliance, Auditing, and Policy.
Experience in a consulting or customer-facing role.
Experience managing projects, using software development lifecycles and methodology, common controls frameworks, and risk assessments.
Understanding of cloud computing and relevant compliance practices in Europe related to security, privacy, and outsourcing.

The Global Data Center Security (GDCS) team is chartered with physically protecting the people and assets that operate and support Google's global critical infrastructure. As a member of the GDCS team you will help develop a culture where safety, security, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. Additionally, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop excellent programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
As a Program Manager on the GDCS Compliance, Auditing, and Policy (CAP) team, you will lead and drive the success of audits and compliance as related to Google Data Centers. In this team, we are expected to be thought leaders who create effective solutions, by leveraging the expertise of a vast array of partners like Engineering Compliance, Legal, GDC Management, and GDC Googlers. In this role, you’ll cover a region of infrastructure spaces and interact closely with teams in GDC to ensure the successful delivery, execution and optimization of the audits and compliance program.

Partner closely with GDC teams to ensure that their programs align to audit expectations and help prepare them for future audits.
Coordinate, manage, and execute on site audits from various sources (customer, insurance, etc,) with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and collaborate with the team and partners to help shape and drive the tactical and strategic development of the GDC compliance program.
Help enhance, transform, create, or deprecate practices and processes, with the key objective of supporting the compliance and auditability across GDC.
Create and maintain program documentation and trainings.
