C H Robinson Worldwide Senior Financial Analyst (Decision Support) in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

As a Senior Financial Analyst for decision support on our Financial Planning and Analysis (FPandA) team, you will provide decision support to senior management on company investment decisions. In this role, you will support and execute the evaluation of investment opportunities to maximize shareholder return, minimize risk and improve Company prioritization and accountability. This is a critical position that will evolve FPandA at C.H. Robinson, generating significant value and pave the path for future FPandA advancement Companywide. This role is located in Eden Prairie, MN. This role will report to the Manager, FPandA (Decision Support). Responsibilities: Execute process for evaluating investment decisions to ensure both shareholder value creation and risk mitigation Collaborate with business and functional partners to ensure project assumptions are supported with financial analysis and work with stakeholders to ensure the investment assumptions are realistic Implement post-project review process to assess actual return on investment relative to initial expectations Manage implementation of and utilize reporting and analytical tools ensuring stakeholders are equipped with the necessary information to make informed business and financial decisions Partner with IT organization to build and enhance reporting and analytical tools Implement continuous improvement across the FPandA function Lead ad hoc FPandA projects as requested Identify and make recommendations for continuous improvement Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or other Finance-related roles Preferred Qualifications: Data analytics, financial analysis and accounting skills Experience with finance technology - i.e. Oracle, Essbase, TM1 Experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean or Six Sigma tools and processes Values a diverse and inclusive work environment Thrives working autonomously in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, results-oriented environment Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and consult with multiple stakeholders at a variety of levels Demonstrated ability to navigate in a matrixed organization with multiple competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Team oriented and thrives in a collaborative environment Deadline and timeline oriented and able to manage multiple competing priorities #LI_CO1 Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer C.H.
