Job Overview:
Manages, plans, and coordinates activities related to the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Directories Services team and the infrastructure and services they support. Will be a key leader implementing Azure and building out the engineering and support models. Interfaces with all IT groups on IAM requirements.
Develops, leads, and organizes technical projects with the creation and execution of project plans, test strategies and development activities in conjunction with systems analysts, business unit managers, and the IT Project Management Office. Ensures that IT Security technology is functioning fully and transparently and that problems are promptly resolved. Individual needs to be technically “hands-on” but be able to delegate and lead a team of IT professionals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to day management of IAM technical security staff for Directory Services – Active Directory, SSO, PAM.
Implementation, management, and troubleshooting of enterprise IAM systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Working collaboratively across IT functional areas.
Assist in the ongoing efforts in selecting, designing and implementing IAM strategy
Develop and implement operational support procedures, metrics and SLAs
Respond to production incidents and provide management support for the operations team
Support annual Internal, SOX and PCI audit requirements, and ad hoc network and security audits consistent with corporate policies and procedures;
Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of IAM systems;
Stay abreast of the latest thinking, technologies, and security literature;
Provide expertise and counsel across all IT technical areas.
Provide relevant and timely communications to management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering
Experience:
4-6 years direct experience in IAM management
Experience managing staff of 5+
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of IAM solutions
At least 5 years’ experience with Active Directory
At least 2 years’ experience with Azure
At least 2 years’ combined experience with enterprise web SSO solutions such as Azure, SiteMinder, Clear Trust, Oracle Access Manager, Tivoli Access Manager
At least 1 years’ experience with multi-factor authentication systems such as Azure, RSA OTP, Smart Cards, Biometrics
At least 1 years’ experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems such as CyberArk
At least 3 years’ experience working with networking teams related to firewalls, load balancers, etc.
At least 3 years’ experience with LDAP and Directory Server Products preferred
At least 1 years’ experience with Identity Lifecycle and Governance solutions such as SailPoint preferred
Established experience working with data using SQL and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, Python, VB, etc. preferred
Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of core IAM capabilities – access control, access management, identity lifecycle, identity governance, privileged access management
Strong enterprise knowledge of enterprise IT networks, systems, applications, cloud environments, and processes.
Strong knowledge of key security technical disciplines – network, application, authentication, encryption, integrity, and availability.
Extensive experience with security technologies
Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
Skills/Abilities:
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.
Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills
Communicates effectively with non-technical staff and members of interdisciplinary teams
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Highly self-motivated and directed
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Excellent understanding of department goals and objectives
Ability to be discreet with highly confidential information
Ability to shift priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
