POSITION PROFILE

The Associate Product Manager will work with the Product Manager on all aspects of product line day-to-day management, including product development, planning, analysis, sales support and promotion.

Associate Product Marketing Manager will:

  • Assist in development and execution of product line plans and reports for growth and profitability targets

  • Manage timetable and budgets of planned activities

  • Develop and maintain marketing materials including price lists, brochures, website content, training programs, samples, competitive comparisons, product news

  • Provide day-to-day product line education, knowledge and support for sales and customer service

  • Examine orders and sales, interpret segmentation, geographical, channel and component mix structure for product decisions

  • Partner with operations to review manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of the technical aspects of product management

  • Ability to establish and maintain multiple priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • A keen attention to detail

Required Experience

Education Requirement: BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Design or Liberal Arts

Experience Required:

  • Three years of marketing or design related experience

  • Background in contract furniture experience preferred

  • Must have experience in working with multi-functional groups and strong project managements skills

  • Experience with CAD based tools, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • 25 - 30% overnight travel required
