Business Continuity Analyst
Reporting to the Emergency Manager, this position functions as a member of Cree’s Corporate Security and Emergency Management department, leading continuous improvement efforts related to Cree’s Corporate Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The person selected will maintain written policies and procedure, facilitate timely review and revision of continuity plans, assist internal organizations with maintenance of Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessments (BIA/RAs), develop and deliver Crisis Management exercises, and lead the department’s preparation for audits. In the event of a Significant Business Interruption, this position will provide support for the company’s Crisis Response Teams.

What You Can Do for Cree | Wolfspeed
Use project management skills to facilitate routine review and revision of continuity plans.
Assist business unit and support service organization personnel with identification of critical business processes (CBP), assessment of potential impact as a result of a CBP disruption, identification of points of failure and mitigation strategies, maintenance of recovery checklists, and documentation of these activities.
Develop and facilitate business continuity exercises for corporate and local Crisis Response Teams.
Provide training for business unit and support service organization personnel appropriate for their role within the BCMS.
Provide expertise and support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs.
Produce routine BCMS related reports for senior management.
Lead BCMS related preparation efforts in advance of customer and/or certification audits.
Assist in maintenance of facility emergency response plans.
Be available on-call outside of normal business hours to support the CRT in the event of a Significant Business Interruption.
Maintain professional skills and abilities through continuing education and actively participating in local continuity planning organizations.
Travel up to 25% may be required to facilitate training and exercises at remote sites.
What You Need for Success
Certification as a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) through DRII or similar.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
3+ years’ experience performing Business Continuity Management System activities
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong verbal and written communications. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners in remote locations.
Comfort developing and delivering professional reports and presentations to senior management personnel.
Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
Must be a strong leader and a productive team player.
Travel and off-hour on-call support required.
Highly Preferred Skills and Certifications
Master’s degree in a related field
5+ years’ experience performing Business Continuity Management System activities
Strong working understanding of international standards related to Business Continuity Management Systems, including:
Disaster Recovery Institute International’s 2017 Professional Practices.
IATF16949: 2016 Quality Management Systems – Requirements for Automotive
ISO 22301:2019 Security and Resilience – Business Continuity Management Systems – Requirements.
ISO 22313:2020 Security and Resilience – Business Continuity Management Systems – Guidance on the use of ISO 22301.
ISO/TS 22317: 2015 Societal Security – Business Continuity Management Systems – Guidelines for Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
NFPA 1600:2019 – Standard on Continuity, Emergency, and Crisis Management.
Certification as a Certified Business Continuity Auditor (CBCA) or Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) through DRII or similar.
Experience with multiple BCMS software platforms,
Experience auditing BCMS’ against international standards and conducting gap analysis.
Experience working in the semiconductor manufacturing or similar environment.
