Drive performance and maximize the pet healthcare and non-vet brands potential in the US through an integrated brand, marketing and trade marketing strategy and execution. Leverage deep knowledge of PHC/Consumer/Shopper Insights and strategy across US. Lead and develop the US PHC Trade and Shopper marketing team and priority commercial execution by balancing conflicting priorities and complexity. Ensure premium brands execution excellence and deliver PHC Market share and financial performance by optimizing resource allocation, Return On Investment culture and rolling out news to market enabling them to implement to our consumers / shoppers / customers.

Duties &Responsibilities:

  • Manage and leadshopper research and integrate insights into trade and shopper marketingstrategy. Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics by channel andtranslate findings into activities to further develop our brand.

  • Initiate customersegmentation & trade analyses such as segmentation of key stakeholders (PetShops, E-Commerce, Mass Market, Pharmacy, Wholesalers)

  • Develop SuccessModels including channel strategy, distribution, sku assortment, display, priceand promotion strategy, point of sale tools and key account services. Manage UStrade plan development and monitor execution, including through regular countryvisits. Own and drive a consistent Masterplan and Cycle planning approach.

  • Develop customersengagement excellence through Category Vision / NPD Trade / Detail Aids

  • Support developmentsfor PHC to ensure packaging, product, supply chain excellence and ECR(efficient consumer response) aligned to FMCG routes to market

  • Own & buildculture of G2N optimization in US

  • Owner of price andpromotional price execution to value optimization through strategy andexecution

  • Lead, manage andinspire direct reports (x2) to ensure commitment and motivation to US growthplans. Drive trade Marketing capabilities through guidance on correctiveactions and sharing of best practices

  • Lead the US TradeMarketing talents and further build Trade and Shopper Marketing team

  • Act at all timeswithin the local vetmedica standards/ethics. Follow all company procedures andprocesses with respect to Finance, HR and IT. Respect the local regulatoryenvironment, especially for local market execution.


  • BS Degree from anaccredited institution required

  • MBA Preferred

  • Ten-plus (10+) yearsof experience in leading trade marketing/marketing/sales/CatMan role in inglobal OTC/FMCG player

  • Leadership andinterpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships across ofmulti-functional teams in different markets.

  • Proven experience inproject management and systematic analysis.

  • Strong communicationskills, both written and oral (in English).

  • Strong analyticalskills with ability to problem solve, develop strategies, tactics and totranslate opportunities into measurable implementation.

  • A multi-taskinghigh-achiever: who manages their own time effectively to ensure high qualitydeliverables and outcomes providing timely delivery of key outputs and is aproactive problem solver.

  • A strong commercialaptitude: thinks analytically,demonstrates knowledge and displays technical sales expertise to creativelysolve problems and develop appropriate solutions. Can think commercially tocreate revenue opportunities and profitable growth.

  • Digitally savvy: hasa good understanding of the world of digital and e-commerce

  • Proven peopleskills: a great communicator, able to collaborate and build relationships.

  • Track record inleading complex projects across different channels/countries

  • Demonstrated resultsin driving business performance across channels and markets (e.g. channel sharecapture, improved ROI on trade spend, etc.)


  • Must be legallyauthorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing totake a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)

  • Must be 18 years ofage or older
