Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Industrial Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered expert in field. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex tasks. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Organized and efficient at time management.
Must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI - 6 years).
10 years of security or related experience with a Bachelors (14 years of experience total in lieu of a degree); or 8 years of experience with a Masters
Computer and desktop office software products experience (Word, Excel etc...)
DCID 6/4 eligibility in JPAS.
Personnel and Program Security Experience.
Familiarity with DoD 5205.07 manuals.
Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications.
Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience.
