We are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and highly motivated individual to join our Human Resources organization as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner and to help shape our future!
The Sr. HR Business Partner role will provide you with meaningful and challenging work that will not only strengthen your current skills, but will enable you to grow and develop new ones. This position is both a strategic and hands-on role that will help shape and lead efforts in Performance Management, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Employee Relations and Engagement, Policy and Process Management, D&I, and Compensation.
Partner with leaders to understand business needs and objectives to drive HR solutions and programs that will ensure alignment to business strategy.
Develop and execute short-and long-term talent management and succession strategies that will identify, develop and retain critical skills for current and future work. Partner with Talent Acquisition to create a process for the effective internal deployment of talent in support of business needs.
Manage and refresh the performance management cycle from goal setting to annual review, including the merit planning process.
Develop an employer of choice culture, in partnership with leadership, by improving the employee experience, gathering and analyzing data to make informed human capital decisions, elevating Technica’s employee value proposition, and enhancing diversity & inclusion.
Manage the employee engagement survey and analysis process to monitor the "pulse" of the organization and ensure a high-level of employee satisfaction and engagement.
Identify trends based on available data to develop actions to improve employee satisfaction and engagement with critical-skill and cleared talent, driving lower attrition rates across the company.
Partner with Talent Acquisition in creating a workforce strategy that will assess skill gaps, and develop and execute build, buy and borrow strategies.
Coach and mentor leaders on talent management and development, effective team engagement and collaboration, and employee relations.
Develop and/or update training materials and content to provide effective upskilling for management and employee community, as required.
Develop policies and influence leadership to ensure policies, procedures, and employment laws and regulations are being applied fairly, equitably, and consistently.
Challenge the status quo, identify process improvements and drive executional excellence and change management to various initiatives and programs.
Operate as a trusted advisor who is progressive, responsive, consultative, and collaborative in driving solutions to complex problems.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, or related field.
6+ years of experience in the human resources field.
Prior experience identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into people strategy, programs and initiatives, and then successfully lead change management and adoption.
Prior experience creating effective learning and development programs, and employee relations, retention and reward programs.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and themes, and then develop recommendations and action plans to improve organizational effectiveness.
Experience leading and executing performance management cycles, merit planning and/or talent management.
Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, or related field.
Ability to identify new opportunities where Human Resources can add value and develop associated plans to incorporate ideas into the business.
Prior government contracting experience in the technology, security clearance space.
3+ years of HR business partner experience supporting multiple program areas and senior leaders.
3+ years’ experience working across functions and client groups to help develop and execute solutions in talent management, leadership development, D&I, employee engagement & retention, employee relations, workforce strategy, organizational design, new business proposal support, compensation approaches, performance management, or other related areas.
Conducted workforce assessments and analyzed skill gaps to develop recommendations.
Prior experience developing and administering compensation plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; have a bias for action - orientated on results.
Occasional travel, as needed.
PHR or SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
