Successful candidates for this position will work in a technical role for the National Security Systems (NSS) business area. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, cutting-edge programs and new mission areas. The program will be based in Dulles VA, and may require some travel. The position is to lead the requirements definition effort for a spacecraft development program.
Candidates should be knowledgeable of requirements flow down and management, validation and verification planning, interface definition, and expertise with various engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo. The role will include validating the customer level requirements and pulling from multiple inputs to develop the program level requirements. The role will include support for major program reviews such as SRR, PDR, and CDR. The role will include interface with clients, as well as regular interactions with internal engineering associates and program management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related area 5+ years of experience, Master’s Degree and 3+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of Systems Engineering Principles (i.e. requirements, scope, cost, text and execution)
• Must have US Citizenship with current or active Top Secret level Clearance
• Experience using DOORS and Cameo, Spacecraft and Power Systems
• Experience coordinating the efforts of diverse stakeholders
• Masters Degree in a technical field
