Danaher Corporation Global Learning & Development Specialist (m/f/d) in Duesseldorf, Germany

Partner with the HR Talent Director to manage the implementation of new training plans, communication plans, and change management activities. Responsible for assisting with the coordination of key stakeholders, include communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals. Manage, design, develop, coordinate and conduct training programs with the support of the talent management team.

The Learning and Development Generalist will support optimizing relationships of associates & managers. Driving excellence across Hach through effective problem solving and the use of DBS tools is critical to success.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Managing our annual training curriculum ensuring full completion within targeted timescales and providing timely and accurate updates to associates & leaders, incl. training needs assessment

  • Ensure appropriate number and quality of facilitators for classes

  • Ensure effective communication of training curriculum

  • Analyze facilitator evaluation forms

  • Support delivering trainings as linked to programs

  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. mentoring, e-learning)

  • Maintaining and track training budgets and relationships with vendors

  • Developing internal marketing materials to be distributed within the company promoting the course and necessary details

  • Assist in planning, creating and implementing each year's training courses and materials

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 2+ years of experience within learning & development / Talent Management.

  • High level of organizational and presentation skills

  • Experience in measuring outcomes through data analysis.

  • Proven ability to work effectively across cultures and on distance.

  • Excellent writing & communication skills & ability to synthesize information into clear concise messages – English (German and other languages are a plus).

  • Strong influencing, relationship management, and problem solving skills.

  • Courage to challenge, while demonstrating the ability to be flexible and adaptive.

  • Understanding of enterprise software solutions (i.e. Workday, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Well versed in partnering with vendors preferred.

  • Adequate knowledge of learning management system and web delivery tools.

Education, Background and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training/Organizational Development, Recruiting, HR, Project Management, or a related field is required.

  • Hands-on mentality, coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting.

  • Experience in delivering and facilitating trainings and workshops

  • Quick and agile learner; both adaptable and open to change in work direction.

  • Consistently demonstrate and model teamwork and collaboration.

  • Customer service mindset, willing to go the extra mile to serve our internal customers.

  • Perform and demonstrate at an intermediate level of technological skill using various software applications and systems.

  • Confident and effective communication skills; ability to prioritize and organize projects.
